The Similan Islands is an archipelagos of 9 islands located on the west cost of Thailand.
These islands are a perfect place for scuba diving, huge granite bolder, fringing reefs, clear water (20-30m), the Similan islands water temperature is around 26-30 degree during diving season.
Along the coast of the Similan islands, you can find a lots of diferent dive sites, Island number 1 to 3 are not allowed for diving, as it s a turtle nesting ground, islands number 4 and 8 are the only 2 islands where public can access and actually step on.
Only a few tent and bungalow from the national park are on these islands.
The most popular dive spot are around islands 4-5-6-7-8-9.

The Similan islands dive sites are mainly composed of huge granitic rock formation, which give a breath taking underwater scenery.
Turtles, Sharks, Napoleon wrasse, Clown fish,Moray eels, Crabs , Shrimps are common sighting.
